IAMM Scientific Awards:

1 IAMM Junior Best paper Prize 2010

• Contestant should be IAMM member
• Age- Below 35 years as on 31. 08.2010 (Age proof required).
• To be the Principal author of the paper
• The paper has not received any other award (certificate required).
• Contestant to certify that the paper is yet unpublished.

2 Prof. A. N. Chakrabarty Memorial Prize for Best published paper in Mycobacteriology

• Any IAMM member who has published a paper as the first author in the field of Mycobacteriology during the preceding calendar year (2009) in any National / International journal will be eligible to submit the paper for the award.
• Consent of co-authors to submit the paper for the award is necessary.
• It has to be certified by the author(s) that this paper has not received any award earlier.

3 Nawopia Dr. Pankajalakshmi V. Venugopal Prize for Best Paper in Mycology.

4 Dr. S. R. Sengupta- A. M. Saoji Memorial Prize for Best Paper in Immunology.

5 Dr. S. S. Kelkar Memorial Prize for Best Poster in Microbiology (any topic).

6 IAMM Silver Jubilee Prize for Best Paper in Parasitology.

7 Mumbai-Belgaum prize for best poster in Mycobacteriology presented at the conference.

8 Belgaum-Mumbai prize for best poster in Bacteriology presented at the conference.

• All IAMM members are eligible to contest in these award programmes.
• Abstracts intended for participation in the award session should be clearly indicated at the TOP of the Abstract Form.
• The articles would be peer reviewed and only a few selected abstracts would be allowed for presentation in the award session.
• Six (06) hard copies and one soft copy of the paper along with the certificates and declarations should be sent to Dr. Ranganathan Iyer,Secretary, IAMM at Global Hospitals, Lakdi-ka-pul, Hyderabad-500004 on or before 31.08.2010 by Speed Post / Registered Post / Courier
• A panel of judges would adjudge the paper / poster presented in the respective session.
The President of the IAMM will confer all these awards at the valedictory session of the XXXIV National Conference of IAMM (MICROCON 2010) on the 28 November 2010 at Kolkata.
