Accommodation Details

1. The Organizers would arrange for a limited number of accommodations for the delegates. This would be done on a first come first served basis. The students and scholars would be given preference for Guest House or hostel type accommodation. Most accommodations will be made in A/C double bed rooms on twin sharing basis(two persons in a double seated room).
2. All accommodation requests must be sent by 15.08.2010.
3. The Organizing Committee would take all necessary measures to book an accommodation as per the choice of the delegate. But at times it may be necessary to book the accommodation at the next higher slab due to shortage of availability. All delegates are requested to bear with it. Very few hostel seats may be arranged.
4. On receiving the FORM B and the Demand Draft bearing the accommodation charges the chosen category of room will be allotted by the Accommodation Committee and booked by an authorized agent. The booking voucher will be sent to the delegate via E-mail and updated in the website. The confirmed accommodation voucher should be downloaded from the internet and produced at the hotel or guest house at the time of check-in along with a photo-identity card.
5. The applicable accommodation charges will have to be sent at the earliest by A/c Payee Demand Draft in favour of MICROCON2010, payable at Kolkata along with filled up Form B by courier / speed Post / Regd. Post.
6. As Kolkata will be hosting a number of other conferences during the same time as Microcon 2010, all delegates are requested to take note of this, send the Registration and Accommodation booking amounts at the earliest to co-operate with the Organizing Committee to sort out accommodation related difficulties in time.
7. Please remit one day’s hotel rent in advance towards accommodation by A/C Payee Demand Draft along with the Registration fees. Rest of the amount due towards accommodation charges will be vested on the authorized agent and the hotel concerned.

Personal travel insurance is recommended.

The Microcon 2010 organizing committee would act as agents only in securing hotels, transport and travel services and in no event shall be liable for acts or defaults in case of injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity of any kind whatsoever during arrangements organized through contractors or the employees of such contractors in carrying out services. Hotel and transportation services are subject to the terms and conditions under which they are offered to the public in general. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to make changes where deemed necessary, without prior notice to parties concerned.
All disputes are subject to the Government of India law and are adjudicated at High Court, Kolkata.
