Abstract Submission Guidelines

 

  • *   Abstracts are invited for oral and poster presentation from registered delegates. The work should be original, unpublished and not presented in any other conference earlier.

  • *   An abstract, submitted for either oral or poster presentation, should preferably have any one of the authors an IAMM member for the abstract to get the preference for selection.

  • *   The name of the presenting author should be underlined or printed in BOLD letters.

  • *   Total number of authors should not be more than six (06).

  • *   The abstract should not exceed 250 words.

  • *   The abstract should be structured as per the present format prescribed in the Indian Journal of Medical Microbiology: Title, Authors, Name of the Institute, Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results and Conclusions.

  • *   References are not required except for papers meant for award sessions.

  • *   Inappropriately structured or incomplete abstracts will not be accepted.

  • *   The abstract should be printed in the space provided in the official abstract form in single line spacing using Times New Roman.

  • *   Abstract should be printed only in Laser or Inkjet printer.

  • *   Title should be in bold capital letters.

  • *  Abbreviations are not to be used.

  • *  Send TWO hard copies and ONE soft copy of the abstract and the full text of the article (for award session only) by conventional mail to the official address of the Organizing chairperson along with the Registration charges.

  • *  Indicate the desired mode of presentation. But the Scientific committee’s decision will be final.

  • *  The abstract is to be submitted online also by E-mail: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
    addressed to the Convener, Scientific committee.
    In case of any discrepancy, the e-mail version will be consulted.

  • *  Last date of receipt of the abstract is 15.08.2010 along with Registration
    Fees at the Dept of Microbiology, A.I.I.H.& P.H, 110 C R Avenue, Kolkata- 700073.

  • *   Last date of receipt of abstract and full paper for award session is 31.08.2010 at Hyderabad.
